ATypI welcomes you to its 60th annual conference.

The theme of ATypI’s 2016 conference is “Convergence”. The wider design world and mainstream channels increasingly recognise typeface design as a fundamental element in communication, with profound implications for learning, work, and entertainment. We invite attendees to explore the ways in which the typographic community is advancing the field and shaping the future of our interactions with text.

The call for presentations for ATypI 2016 is now open. Submissions will be accepted through April 11, 2016.

SUBMIT YOUR PRESENTATION PROPOSAL/ABSTRACT 
After you create your user account, please submit your presentation proposal by visiting your profile dashboard. After logging in, go to your profile, and click on the "My Abstracts" link in the lefthand menu. On the next page, click the green "Submit Abstract" button and complete the submission form. Your will be asked to upload a high-resolution print-quality photo, as well as other material related to your proposal.

• Tuesday, 13 September: Pre-conference optional workshops and associated events will be held at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.
  
• Wednesday, 14 September: Business, technology, and educational forums will be held at the National Audiovisual Institute (NInA).
  
• Wednesday evening: Opening night reception and keynote will be held at the Poster Museum at Wilanów, a Division of the National Museum in Warsaw.
  
• Thursday–Saturday, 15–17 September: The general sessions will take place at the Academy of Fine Arts' new building on the Vistula River.
